This innovative program will bring 24 emerging business leaders from Zambia and Zimbabwe to the United States in 2014 for a five-week program working with American businesses and community-based organizations. The visiting participants’ professional placements will be supplemented with skills-based workshops, community site visits, and attendance at a culminating conference in Washington, D.C.
In addition, eight American participants will be selected to participate in a two-week reciprocal program to Zambia and Zimbabwe in early 2015. YALI for Africa will support this program through participant recruitment and selection and will also provide support for the American mentor’s program in Zambia and Zimbabwe.
